Transfer Station Holiday Hours & Christmas Tree Collection

Due to the upcoming holidays falling on Wednesdays, the Marion Transfer Station will be open on Thursday, 12/26, and Thursday, 1/2.  The hours of operation are 8:00AM through 3:00PM. 

Curbside Christmas tree collection will be offered during the week of January 6th through January 10th.  All trees must be curbside by 7:00AM on the day of your regular rubbish collection. 

Please ensure rubbish containers are not blocked by leaving no less than 5 feet of clearance on each side.  Trees will be collected by the Department of Public Works not Waste Management. 

Marion residents, with a valid Transfer Station Sticker, can also dispose of their trees at the Transfer Station on Wednesdays and Saturdays between the hours of 8:00AM and 3:00PM through January 11th. Trees in plastic bags or with ornaments will not be accepted curbside or at the transfer station.
