The Marion Department of Public Works, through the Contractor P.J. Keating Company, will begin reclamation work for roadway improvements on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 on the following roadways:
Allen Street (Front Street to Converse Road)
Lewis Street (Front Street to Water Street)
Pleasant Street (Converse Road to No. 3 Pleasant Street)
Cove Street (Cul de sac ONLY)
Zora Road (Converse Road to Front Street)
Hermitage Road (Route 6 to Cemetery / Private Road)
Adjustments of roadway structures and installation of permanent pavement will follow during the week of October 28, 2024. Completion of all work is subject to change due to weather conditions.
Please do not park any vehicles along the roadway during the construction period. Although the roadway will remain open to residents, motorists can expect delays while traveling through the construction area and should seek alternate routes. Every effort will be made to minimize inconvenience to customers and motorists. Your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated.
