Dog Licenses are available at the Town Clerk's Office for the calendar year beginning in January. A current rabies certificate must be presented when applying for a dog license. Dogs must be licensed by June 30th. Licenses not paid by July 1st will be subject to a $25.00 fee for the by-law violation.
Single licenses (not kennels) may be purchased through the mail by filling out the dog license application and sending it in after following the instructions or coming by the Marion Town House on 2 Spring Street.
Current Dog License Fee Schedule:
Neutered/spayed dog: $7.00
Dog not fixed: $10.00
Kennel: $30.00
Hobby Kennel: $60.00
People over 70 Years of age do not pay licensing fee for one dog but remain responsible for providing rabies certificate
